Papers, 1807-1831.

This collection consists of five letters written between 1807 and 1831. Three of these are addressed to John McDowell; one to Richards' early mentor Dr Henry Dwight; and one to the Philadelphia bookseller William Woodward. Of particular note is the letter introducing Dwight to one Israel Lewis, "agent for the coloured colony now settling in Canada."
